Ninaithale Inikkum is a 1979 Tamil Movie about Chandru (Kamal Haasan) and three of his friends and their music band. They go to Singapore to perform in a concert. There, Chandru meets Sona and they both fall in love. But there seem to be a lot of mysteries revolving around Sona and she seems to be followed around. Moreover, she tells Chandru that she is suffering from blood cancer. Despite this, Chandru decides to meet Sona's father and ask her hand in marriage. However, her father tells him that Sona has played a prank on him because she is already engaged to someone else. This leaves Chandru devastated.
